We publish beautiful, practical and informative hand-drawn maps for literary folk who like to go walking.

THE LITERARY MAP COMPANY was founded in March 2019 by Ros Connelly and Tessa Strickland.

We make maps that take walkers in the footsteps of their favourite writers.  Our first two maps follow Charles Dickens. Each map is 70cm x 41cm, folding to 14cm x 20.5cm. The maps include:

  •  Illustrations and excerpts from the novels

  • Detailed directions on where to go and what to see

  • A commentary on the significance of the places in the author's work

  • Hand-drawn landmarks that bring together the past and the present
